This is from my second attempt of shooting with flash and I focused mainly on bounce flash, being that I have a direct flash from the first take I liked. So this is my select for bounce and the last post is my select for direct.

I know exactly what you mean about flash being a bitch. I got a flash this summer and really have a hard time with it. How did you bounce it in this image?
